QUEENSBURY –
Yuen Wa Wan, 96, of Queensbury, entered into eternal life on July 31, 2024.
Born in Hong Kong on September 15, 1927. Yuen
emigrate
d to the United States in 1971. She was a long time resident of Warren County, New York having worked in her family's business Young's Chinese Restaurant in Glens Falls, NY from 1975 until 1992.
She is survived by one son, Man Tak "Johnson" Young of Queensbury.
Grandmother of: Daniel Young, Marguerite (David) Robinson, Carrie (Jonathan) Pincus, Caren (Donald) Harlan and Catherine (Mike) Lewis.
Great Grandmother of: David III, Joey, Matt, Owen, Madison, Noah, Gabriella, Ethan, Eliza, Xavier and Abigail.
Great-Great Grandmother of Olivia.
In addition, Yuen is also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Mary Lee Young, and son-in-law John (Eileen) LaVelle.
In addition to her parents, Yuen was predeceased in death by 3 of her brothers in England and her daughter Carol LaVelle.
Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 11AM until 12:30PM on Friday, August 9, 2024 in the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180, where prayers will be offered at 12:30PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
