West Sand Lake, NY William V. Roberts (Bill), 73 passed away peacefully on Saturday May 23rd, 2020. He was born April 1st, 1947 to parents Vernon And Ann Roberts. He graduated from Averill Park High School & served in The US Army as a machinist. He was employed at Ford Motors, Watervliet Arsenal and retired from GE Schenectady in 2017. Bill enjoyed collecting and restoring classic cars, painting and camping. He was a member of The American Legion Post 1489, Wynantskill ,NY. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Roberts;. sons William D. Roberts (Kate Breen), Benjamin P. Roberts (Tracy Hutchins); six grandchildren: Sean, Riley, Ryan, Liam, Will and Kellen; his brother, Richard Roberts (Sandy), a sister Lucretia Barry (Jim). He is also survived by the mother of his children, Janet M. Roberts. Services with full military honors were held privately at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
