Samuel W. Roberts III, of Watervliet, NY, passed away on December 26, 2013. Sam was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, the son of Sam and Mary Roberts. He graduated from Port Chester High School, Wittenberg College, and Syracuse University. He was an avid skier and a lover of American history. Survivors include his son James Roberts, of Brooklyn, NY, his daughter Rebecca Roberts, his son-in-law Kevin Bau, and his grandson Owen Bau, of Newton, MA, and his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, Rick, Jeanne, and Brian Roberts, of Scottsdale, Arizona. He volunteered regularly at the battlefield.
