Bolivia, N.C. Ruth (Jeffers) Wilkinson of Bolivia, N.C., passed away April 21, 2016 surrounded by her family that she loved so much. She was born in Latham, NY to Ernest and Marion Jeffers. Ruth attended Shaker High School, worked many odd jobs but settled in and later retired from the Campbell Plastics company after 20 plus years of working there. In 2000, her and her husband moved to Bolivia, N.C. Ruth had an amazing talent for crocheting and telling jokes. Her sense of humor will forever be missed. She loved spending time with her grand kids and great grand kids and truly enjoyed teaching them valuable life lessons (inside joke). Ruth is predeceased by her parents, her sisters Alyda Tobin and Dorothy Stafford, and her daughter Kimberly. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Leman Wilkinson, her children Patricia (Clyde) Williams, Cynthia (Greg) Stinzianni, Francine (Cindy) Wilkinson, David (Talieta Gilling) Wilkinson and Sherri (George) Pappas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren: Anthony, Nikia, Jackie, Jeffrey, Ryan, Lauren, Jordan, Michael, Celeste, Anton, Mateo, Tyler, Troy and Marc and 7 great grandchildren: Zoelle, Giovanni, Zaniah, Amaiah, Dominick, Aubree, Jaxon, Michael, Taj and a circus full of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 14, at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet-Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205 (Town of Colonie).
