Obituary

Troy, NY Richard Thomas "Dickie" LeDuc, 67 of Kennedy Towers passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital after a short illness. Born in Troy, NY, to the late William C. and Helen C. Desler LeDuc, he was a lifelong area resident. Richard served as an Auto Mechanic for the Troy Police Garage retiring in 1985. Dickie loved antique cars, the Sci-fi channel, building computers with his grandson David and working on cars. He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Anna M. Ashton LeDuc. He was the father of: Richard T. LeDuc, Jr. of Troy, Joseph R. (Jennine) LeDuc of East Greenbush and Amy E. LeDuc of Rotterdam, NY. He was the brother of: William P. LeDuc of Watervliet, Marilyn LeDuc of Lansingburgh, Henry J. LeDuc of Troy, John F. (Lucy) LeDuc of Fayetteville, NC. He was grandfather of: David W. Hazzard, III of Rotterdam, Austain S. and Kaiden J. LeDuc both of East Greenbush. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as his special feline companion, Cindi. Besides his parents his brother Robert C. LeDuc also predeceased him. A Prayer Service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Sunday, two hours prior to the service, from 1 to 3 PM.
