Gloversville, NY Patricia L. Filkins, 63, died at St. Peters Hospital on Saturday, July 27, 2019 after a short illness. Born in Little Falls, NY, Patricia was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Morse Keyser. Patricia has lived in Gloversville for the past 30 years. Pat was a member of the Free Methodist Church of North Gloversville and was a Volunteer with Community Helpers of Gloversville. Pat was a kind and giving person and loved to spend time with her family especially her 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. In her spare time she liked listening to country music and playing cards. Pat is survived by her domestic partner of 25 years, Dennis H. Collins of Gloversville, her children: John Filkins of Hoosick Falls, Angela Makuch of Gloversville, Tabitha (Robert) Potter of Hoosick Falls and Jennifer Fountain of Gloversville, her siblings: Michele (Rob) Hall, Paul, Rick, Bill and Barry Keyser as well as her 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service for Pat will be conducted at 3 oclock in the afternoon, on Thursday, August 1, 2019, from the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2ndAvenue (corner of 104thSt.) Troy, NY 12180. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon, prior to the service from 1 to 3 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
