Michael M. Harrigan passed away peacefully on May 31, 2012. Michael will be remembered as an avid lover of the NY Yankees, NY Giants and PGA golfer, Phil Mickelson. Mike loved to ski, play pool, play golf, spend time with his many friends and tease everyone he cared about. His memory for telling jokes was unsurpassed. He worked for NY State in electrical engineering and was active in the Employees Union. Mike was the son of James and Irene Harrigan from Troy, brother of James, Kevin, Joe and Mary and loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. His dearest friends and second family were Joe, Marie, David and Kristen(Stephan) Waitekus. A memorial mass in Mike's memory will be held on Friday, July 6th at 12 noon at St. Augustine's Church, North Troy. Donations in his memory can be made to the Humane Society.
