Troy, NY- Maryellen A. Russell, 71, of Troy, died suddenly at her home on March 3, 3016 following a long illness. Survived by her husband of 52 years, John B. Russell, her daughters Tina (Richard) Reed and Donnalee (Robert, Jr.) Mero, her granddaughters, Ashley (Seth) Nadler and Kailyn Fourtin, her great-grandchildren Shea and Carter Nadler, and her only surviving sister Linda (Fred) Jones. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 6, from 4-6 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street); Troy, where a prayer service will be held at 10 o'clock on Monday, March 7.
