Cohoes Mark J. Stark, 49, of Melville Avenue, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday August 20, 2013. Mark was born in Troy, NY to the late Patricia C. Stark. He was a lifelong resident of Cohoes. He was self-employed as a carpenter for his entire working career. Mark was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and most importantly a beloved father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Mark is survived by his companion of 20 years, Josephine Rock; his children: Patrick Diotte of Syracuse, NY, Lisa Dolan, Zachary, Thomas and Erica Stark all of Watervliet, NY; his siblings: Darlene Derrico Stark of Cohoes and Amy Gilbert of Waterford; grandchildren: Cecilia Durivage, Madison and Gabriella Dolan, Zachary Stark, Jr. and Jonathan Kilborne Diotte. Besides his mother, Mark was predeceased by a sister Debbie Pettibone. A Memorial Service to honor Mark's life will be conducted at 3 PM on Sunday, August 25, 2013 in the chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy, NY 12180.
