LAWRENCE ROBERT FAUST Mr. Lawrence Robert Faust, 70, of Gloversville, New York, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, following a sudden brief illness. Lawrence was born on May 13, 1943, in Little Neck, Long Island, New York, and was the son of adoptive parents Mr. and Mrs. Wright. Lawrence graduated from Fashion Industries High School and continued his education at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He was an artist by birth and lived out his passion up to the weeks before he had taken ill. He is survived by his life partner and loving wife Miriam Faust. Nine children, Lloyd, Tselane, Lyne, Lawrence Jr., Tomango, Omilana, Teresa, Oluremi and Jamal. Twenty-two grand children, six great grand children and 1 great grand on the way. Faust is also survived by his sister Martha Eleanor Whitfield of Fairfax, South Carolina, and brother, Kenny Meyers of Charlotte, North Carolina, nieces, and nephews. As per Faust's wishes he was cremated on Sunday, May 11, 2014. A memorial will take place on Saturday, May 17th from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM at his home, 305 West Fulton Street in Gloversville, New York.
