MIDDLE GROVE –

Jazalyn Nicole Fearnley, 18, of Middle Grove, formerly of Johnsonville passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital.

Born in Albany on July 12, 2007, she was the beloved daughter of Rose M. (Young) Fearnley and the late David Matthew Fearnley, Sr.

Jazalyn was primarily raised in Galway. At the time of her passing, she was a dedicated high school student who also pursued her passion for culinary arts at a local trade school. She worked as a line cook at Peddlers Bar & Bistro, a job she truly loved.

Jazalyn found joy in many activities. She cherished doing makeup and hairstyles with her sisters and spending time with her school friends and family. Her three nieces brought her immense happiness, keeping her on her toes with playful energy and chasing them around. She shared a deep connection with her boyfriend, William, as they did everything together, from movie nights to various date nights.

A genuine animal lover, Jazalyn had a huge soft spot for all creatures. She embraced the outdoors and adventure, loving camping trips, jet ski and boat rides, quad riding, and relaxing beach days with friends and family.

Jazalyn was predeceased by her father, David M. Fearnley, Sr., who passed away just three years prior at the age of 45. In addition to her mother, Rose, Jazalyn is survived by five loving siblings (Jazalyn was the youngest of six): David M. Fearnley, Jr. (age 26), Kashamarie L. Fearnley (age 25), Jordan L. Fearnley (age 23), Ariel M. Fearnley (age 22), and Dawson A. Fearnley (age 20).

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who provided support during this difficult time. Special thanks are extended to Jazalyn's boyfriend, William, and his entire family for their unwavering support; to all of her devoted friends who remained steadfastly by her side; to Rose's boyfriend, Wesley, and all members of his family for their presence and care; and to the compassionate nurses and staff at Saratoga Hospital for their exceptional compassion and support. Your kindness will always be remembered.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, located at 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street), Troy, NY 12180. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel directly after the calling hours, beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m. Following the funeral service, a reception will be at Peddlers Bar and Bistro, located at 16 Old Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
