Obituary
TROY –
Helen L. Procino, 81, of Troy, formerly of Colonie, entered into eternal life peacefully on July 3, 2024.
Daughter of the late John and Mary (Penstock) Procino, Helen was born on December 6, 1942 in Albany.
She was raised in Albany and Colonie, and received her education from Colonie Central High School.
For over 40 years, Helen was an office clerk for the State of New York, where she retired.
In her younger years, she belonged to many different bowling leagues. She also like to play cards and bingo. Her most recent interest and what was most important to her, were her four small dogs.
Survivors include one sister, Mary Antoinette Procino, as well as two nieces and a nephew, several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by two sisters, Arlene and Frances, as well as one nephew, James.
Prayers will be offered at 12 Noon on Friday, July 12, 2024 in a graveside ceremony in St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
Memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice benefiting the welfare of animals would be a fitting tribute to honor Helen's memory.
