Troy, NY- George W. Oathout, 76, of Troy, passed away at Samaritan Hospital in Troy on Tuesday April 21, 2015. Born in Catskill, NY, son of the late Francis M. and Mary (Baker) Oathout. George worked at American Chemical in Latham, NY as a warehouse manager for 40 years. He was the husband of Carol (Hulett) Oathout for 54 years. Besides his wife, George is survived by 7 children, several grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. George's care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Riverview Funeral Home of Troy.
