AVERILL PARK- George E. Burdick, 80, of Averill Park, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2021 following a long illness. Born in Troy on May 23, 1941, George was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Jones) Burdick. He was the devoted husband of the late Dorothy (DeWolf) Burdick, who passed away November 18, 2020. Survivors include his children; Timothy Sehn (Cecile), Frank Sehn, Cindy Langenbach (Rick), Tina Piterniak (Mike), Jodi Abbott, Charlie Burdick and Joe Burdick (Gina). Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive, as well as nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, George was predeceased by his sister Joan Strope.
