Watervliet Dominick A. Roda, 81 formerly of Third Avenue, went to his eternal rest on Sunday, August 5, 2012. He was born in Watervliet to the late Sam and Rose Roda, and was a lifelong resident. He is survived by his wife, Joanne and three daughters: Amy (David, Sr.) Rubino, Kathryn and Nora Roda and grandson, David Rubino, Jr.. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his brother Vince Roda. Dominick worked at the Ford Motor Company and later for the US Postal Service. He was a "proud Italian", avid Yankees and Giants fan and will be remembered for his kindness and generosity to all. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 PM from the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc. 218 2nd Avenue (Corner of 104th St.) Troy, NY 12180. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 3o'clock.
