Obituary
TROY –
Ann Marie Grace Garner, 69, of Troy, Entered into Eternal Life on January 23, 2024 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Her loving family was by her side.
The daughter of Theresa Jeanette (Carello) Agars and the late William Alfred Agars, Ann Marie was born in Troy on December 16, 1954. She was a lifelong resident of Troy and was a graduate from Junior College of Albany and Sage College.
Ann Marie retired from the New York State Department of Education. A dedicated homemaker, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed cross stitching, watching the Hallmark Channel, NASCAR (in particular Jeff Gordon) and the occasional football game.
Ann Marie was united in marriage to Michael Vincent Garner on October 15, 1977 in the former St. William's Church in Troy, NY.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of nearly 47 years, Michael V. Garner. Her loving son William Michael Garner, Sr. (Julia) and Michael Bingham whom she considered as a special bonus son. Her cherished grandchildren: Caleb, Melody, William, Riley, Jaxon and EmilyGrace.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, January 29, 2024 in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 175 Williams Rd, Troy, NY 12180. A viewing hour will be held from 11AM until 12PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12:10 PM. Interment will follow the mass in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
